This virus has certainly turned our world as we know it, upside down and inside out.
We are all having our own experiences of it. It's a curious thing how we talk about togetherness, and yet in many ways, there is much separateness. I'm often left wondering, or just pausing my thoughts or words for a moment and thinking 'what if I were you', or asking 'how does it feel to be you'. Because I feel more than ever, that our times right now are calling for this. Asking us to all to rise up, within ourselves, but also to see one another with greater empathy, and compassion. I hope I'm not alone with my thoughts and hopes for this.

All the words and messages we are taking in. It can feel quite exhausting some days. And others, exhilarating. These times of heightened feelings and emotions in so many ways.
Phrases like these. This is an opportunity. There is possibility. This is the time to be and become the best or better version of you. The time to start something new is now. There are so many creative projects you could be doing. Don't waste this time by doing nothing, but make use of this time by doing more. Or not. What if instead, you simply allowed yourself to just BE. Maybe for the first time you've ever contemplated doing so. Just being. Not adding to anything. Not doing more. What if you just took things moment by moment, day by day. |
